It’s a privilege and a great honor to extend a warm welcome to my beloved sisters.

I am so grateful that our dear sister, Mrs. Doris B. Perry, opened her home in 1983 to other ministers’ wives to come together to unite in prayer, faith, and love. Their mission was to support their husbands in their endeavors to serve the Lord in the church and in the community. This was the beginning of a wonderful sisterhood, the Vance-Warren Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Association.

Down through the years there were many challenges but through it all they stood strong. Because they were women who were, “Rooted and Grounded in serving God through faith, love and prayer.

Forty-One years later we are still standing strong because of God’s grace and love.  Praise God, that we continue to do the work of the Lord in the church and in the community. On behalf of the Vance-Warren Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have supported us throughout the years.
